Gut Health Check
Add-On Service
I have partnered with my colleague and Gut Health/Hormone Specialist Katie Chapmon to bring this amazing add-on service.
Katie Chapmon, MS, RD is an award-winning Registered Dietitian specializing in the field of digestive issues, hormone health, and bariatric nutrition since 2008. Her whole-person approach focuses on addressing the root cause in supporting your health
Katie specializes in GI MAP Gut Microbiome Tests. Testing helps us get more information and identify the root cause of what we’re feeling. Katie will help take the guesswork out of your body and what it needs.
This ‘Add-On’ Package will include:
- A 1-hour initial session – going over history, GI concerns, diet/lifestyle, etc. She will provide some initial nutrition and supplement recommendations and walk through the GUT MICROBIOME TEST and send it to you.
- A 1-hour test results review: Katie will take the time to break down the results and create a supportive lifestyle plan. She will send you a summary with her notes, supplement recommendations, and a timeline of the protocol.
- Two 45-minute Follow-up sessions post-test review. Here, Katie will follow up on the protocol, see how you are feeling, make adjustments, and answer any questions you may have.

What makes Emily different?
My passion to help others develop healthier relationships with food and their bodies arose out of my own struggles. When I was in 8th grade, I developed an eating disorder, was hospitalized, and almost died. Through counseling and treatment, I was able to heal my relationship with food, and I realized how strong the connection was between food and mental health. My experience inspired my passion for helping others who were going through the same struggles.
I knew if I wanted to help others, I had to learn as much as I could about nutrition and health, so became my journey to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Clinical Dietetics, and I have helped over 100 people heal and improve their relationships with food & bodies in a safe, supportive environment. Through my knowledge and personal experiences, I hope to help as many people as possible develop a relationship with food that is healthy, enjoyable, and fun!
If you are struggling with your relationship with food, or just feel that you want to improve your overall health and wellness through a better understanding of your specific nutrition needs, I would love to take that journey with you. When we work together, there is no judgment, no guilt, no shame, just an encouraging, supportive environment that allows you to heal.

I have a therapists, do I also need an Dietitian?
Treating a person who has developed an eating disorder can be a complex process that requires the dedicated service of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Dietitians are among the many experts who can play a vital role in helping people establish a solid foundation for long-term eating disorder recovery.
Restoring nutritional status helps to optimize cognitive and emotional functioning so the patient can participate and benefit from the program of recovery. A healthful diet is also a cornerstone of relapse prevention.
