Remind her that it’s really normal to desire weight loss, and choosing not to die it doesn’t mean that wish gets deleted from your brain. It will be there in the background, (and sometimes in the foreground). It may influence your choices a little, and sometimes a lot. Learning to eat more intuitively means recognizing when that desire is in the driver seat, and when it’s trying to do some backseat driving, and learning how to stay connected to your internal wisdom and values despite the noise it creates!
At the end of the day you’re the one who has to live with your body and your food choices. You are allowed to make decision based on what feels best for you, not based on what you imagined your favorite influencer or intuitive eating dietitian might think!”

I can’t believe It’s my 3rd Mother’s Day! And next year I’ll have 2 beautiful babies to love 💗💙!
Even tho life is so much harder….
I am GRATEFUL for
1. The opportunity to grow, birth, and have healthy babies
2. The unconditional love and connection to my little girl (and boy🤰)
3. The morning struggles and kisses
4. The endless smiles and laughter
5. The continual growth, learning, excitement I see in her eyes daily
6. The constant kicks and flutters I feel throughout the day (💙 👼)
7. The title MOM
Life is hard, I don’t always have it all together or know what I’m doing, I make lots of mistakes…. But I’m grateful for this life I have the opportunity to live!

Little momma realness right now:
**(Not meant for pity just to show I’m a human and struggle like everyone else!)
Life has been HARD AF lately.
I try hard daily to find the little joys, remind myself this is temporary, and ask for help- but sometimes it’s all just too much.
My reality is hard (tho I know there are so many people who have it harder!)
Hubby works 7-7
I have no family even remotely close
I almost full time care for Maddie (all meals, grocery shop, take to and from preschool, observe her daily therapy, bathe, bed)
I work/have my own private practice + have a few teaching gigs
Oh yay- and I’m 6.5 months pregnant 😂
I feel like I can’t give anything my full attention or 100%!
Trying to slow down as much as I can and prioritize!
It won’t always be like this! This is temporary! Trying to remember that! 💗
